The full-day excursion introduces guests to Agats, the administrative and cultural centre of the Asmat region. Built across swampy terrain and connected by elevated wooden walkways, the town reflects the unique environmental conditions and river-based way of life of southern Papua.
Guests explore the local atmosphere of Agats, observe traditional canoes and community activity, and gain insight into the relationship between the Asmat people and their surrounding landscape.
